Lament for a lost future

What ever happened to the bright, borderless utopian vision of the future? It now seems like we are laying down the foundation, for the authotarian nightmares of the future.No more privacy means no more unwanted revolutions, revolutionists.Drone strikes lead to,remote assasinations, devaluation of the value of life.Constant geoploitical stress leads to xenophobia,paranoia,heightened borders eventually lead to closed borders.The list goes on…I know the world was and is fucked,but I nievely expected Obama to lead us towards a brighter path, not down these dark roads
